Jane Hurst

Jane is an advisor to The Youth of Today.  

Jane has worked for many years in Local Government in and around London with a specific focus on disadvantaged and disaffected children, young people and their communities. She has extensive experience of running and managing Play and Youth Services and Alternative Education Projects. Recently she has worked as a researcher, consultant and Interim Manager around the UK in areas such as Integrated Youth Support Services, Integrated Locality working, and Behaviour and Attendance. She is supporting The Youth of Today with her experience and expertise in youth work and related fields.

Jane has a Degree in Psychology achieved as a mature student through the Open University, is a qualified teacher and youth worker and to prove that it is never too late to learn she is currently undertaking a City and Guilds Level 3 course in Design and Craft - Patchwork and Quilting.

Jane is an advisor to The Youth of Today.
