Aron Lewis
Aron was working on the social venture Year Here.
I am working with the start-up Year Here, a project I am very excited about. It has great potential to develop future leaders in social innovation and contribute to local communities. I graduated from the University of Birmingham in 2010 with a degree in International Relations.
Prior to joining the Year Here team I interned at the UK Task Force on issues facing Arab Citizens of Israel, worked for Limmud and spent six months travelling across India - an experience of a lifetime.
I have a keen interest in the voluntary sector and also volunteer at the Muswell Hill Church's Soup Kitchen and help run fortnightly literature sessions for the clients. In 2008 I was fortunate to travel to Tamale, Ghana where I volunteered for local NGO, Wuni Zaligu Development Association.
I am interested in sustainable social enterprise and specifically the positive effects of empowering young people.
