Deeqa was working in the Research Team. 

Education: Degree in History from the School of Oriental and African Studies, University of London.

Projects: Our Shared Europe research project is being conducted in partnership with the British Council and it is about the history of Islam in Europe over the past 1000 years, part of the Maslaha project.

Work Passions: I am interested in social policy especially policy pertaining to family and child welfare.

Other Interests: basketball, reading novels, cooking, Chinese films and travelling.
