Fancy is the Head of Development for the Young Foundation.

Fancy manages all aspects of fundraising and is responsible for enouraging and strengthening the Young Foundation's relationships with its funders as well as securing new income and partnerships.

Fancy has nearly ten years experience in the not-for-profit sector in the UK and US and is a Full Member of the Institute for Fundraising, London, UK.

She has had a longstanding academic and professional interest in philanthropy, venture philanthropy, social finance, and social innovation. Prior to joining the Young Foundation in 2007, Fancy was at the IPPR and before that the IASFM, and Migration Policy Insitute.

Fancy has undertaken numerous finance and fundraising course work through the Directory for Social Change and other professional development outfits. She holds a BS degree in International Politics from the School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University, Washington D.C., USA.
