Rory Toher

Rory ToherRory was working on Public Sector Innovation.

Rory graduated from the University of Kent in English Literature with History and Philosophy of Art in 2011; having also spent a year studying at Universidad Autónoma de Madrid. He is now reading for an MRes, part-time, in Politics at Birkbeck, University of London; with a strong focus on both qualitative and quantitative social research methods.

He has led an English language programme at an NGO in Bihar, India and has an affinity for the Spanish language and culture; having also worked as a translator on the Marx Memorial Library's International Brigade Archive. He has also worked at Dods in Westminster and has a vested interest in British and global politics.

Rory also works part-time as an interviewer for Future First: an organisation that sets up alumni networks in state schools. He is driven by innovative social research and would like to, one day, be one of the people that can offer a solution to some of society's problems.

Outside of work, Rory is dedicated in his pursuits toward becoming Stevie Wonder's lead guitarist and/or star striker for Manchester United.
