Rosie Milner
Rosie Milner has an undergraduate degree in philosophy from Cambridge University and an MSc in Applied Positive Psychology – the science of wellbeing – from the University of East London. She is a specialist in the implications of well-being research for public policy.
Rosie has worked as a think tank research fellow and in the charitable sector. Within Government she has advised on social and economic policies for the Foreign and Commonwealth Office, Cabinet Office and Department for Communities and Local Government.
Rosie works part-time as a Team Leader in the Department for Communities and Local Government, devising policies to reinvigorate local democracy. She represents the Department for Communities and Local Government on the Young Foundation’s Well-being Advisory Board and on Defra’s Well-being Indicators Group.
Rosie spends the rest of her time as a freelance wellbeing consultant, and is currently working with the University of East London and the New Economics Foundation on two projects on the relationship between well-being the natural environment.
Rosie is an advisor to the Local Wellbeing Project.
