So Jung Rim
So Jung is a Researcher.
So started at the Young Foundation as an intern working on the Global Innovation Academy, a new model for global collaboration, sharing and learning- building the skills and capacity needed for effective innovation to meet social needs.
So has a MSc in Social Policy and Development and a BA in Economics.
Prior to starting her internship at the Young Foundation, So was a researcher at the Hope Institute, South Korea. She coordinated the Social Designer School, an introductory course on social innovation for ordinary citizens who are passionate about creating social change. So loves being part of an open space that enables people to share and combine different ideas, insights and perspectives.
In Korea, So was also part of the International Outreach Team at the House of Sharing, a museum and home to former "comfort women" - survivors of sexual slavery by the Japanese military during the WWII. So receives inspiration from these courageous women who have shared their life stories and silence with her.
