Jack Graham

Jack is a Senior Associate and leads Year Here.
Jack is leading the development of Year Here, a new venture that challenges bright, ambitious and socially-conscious school leavers to a year of tackling social issues in their own backyard. Year Here aims to nurture a new wave of young people who are inspired and equipped to take on society’s most pressing issues from positions of leadership.
As part of the Young Foundation’s Venturing and Investment practice, Jack worked on our social venture funding programme Learning Launchpad, served as a Non-Executive Director of the youth innovation consultancy, Space Unlimited, and co-wrote Growing Social Ventures, a comprehensive survey of the institutions that support a dynamic and emerging field of social ventures. Jack was also part of the team that launched The U, a venture that gives people the skills and confidence to be better citizens through volunteer-led training in areas like first aid and conflict resolution, and managed the Faking It pilot, an employability programme that challenged young unemployed people to fake it as chefs in two weeks.
Before joining the Young Foundation, Jack worked as the Head of Operations for a youth-led HIV and AIDS NGO in Zambia. He has also worked as a research analyst for FreshMinds and City & Guilds, ran an international internship scheme for Leonard Cheshire Disability and taught English in Spain, Russia and South Africa.
