Adiva Kestenbaum is a Project Developer and joined the Young Foundation in September 2009.

Adiva provides project development support for the UpRising leadership programme.

Before joining the Young Foundation, Adiva completed a number of placements in various politically orientated environments including grassroots politics, the Houses of Parliament, public affairs and the charitable sector.

In 2008, Adiva completed her BA in French Studies and Hispanic Studies at the University of Birmingham. Her dissertation focused on the Algerian War of Independence (1954-1962), exploring the different political, economic, international and historical forces which resulted in a complete divorce between the coloniser (France) and the colonised (Algeria).

Adiva speaks fluent French, Spanish and Hebrew with a working knowledge of Italian.
