Phoebe Griffith
Phoebe Griffith is the Programme Leader of the Young Foundation's International Practice and is responsible for coordinating and advancing the Young Foundation's work in Europe and beyond.
Phoebe's career spans philanthropy, policy and communications both in the UK and internationally. Previously she headed the Young Foundation's external relations work. She co-authored reports including Social Growth and Charm Offensive (forthcoming), a comprehensive study of the state of civility in the UK.
Before joining the Young Foundation she was the Research and Partnerships Manager at the Barrow Cadbury Trust, a charitable foundation supporting social justice causes. There she led a series of international programmes, including a South to North policy exchange and the launch of an interest group of European foundations working on diversity and migration. She was also responsible for setting up the Barrow Cadbury Trust's programme on progressive migration and was responsible for a number of research projects on race and poverty, cohesion and public attitudes to migration.
Previously, at the Foreign Policy Centre (a foreign policy think tank launched under the patronage of former Prime Minster Tony Blair) she led a programme of work on International Development, covering issues including good governance, trade policy and migration.
Phoebe was brought up in Peru, studied Modern Languages at Oxford University and has a masters in Latin American Politics and Development from London University's School of Advanced Studies.
