A youth led event in which UpRising participants hope to generate a lively discussion and debate to open further the conversation with young people about the perceived rise of extremism within the UK and the impact on the political and social landscape. Of particular interest will be the  international context and a comparative analysis with the UK situation.

UpRising is an organisation dedicated to nurturing and developing young people from diverse backgrounds in order to become the next generation of effective, in-touch leaders across the public, private and voluntary sector.

The event will be will be hosted by Rushanara Ali MP and speakers include Nick Lowles, Hope not Hate, and Professor Nigel Copsey.
