The Young Foundation will be at the Healthcare Innovation Expo in London on 9 and 10 March 2011 at Stand 39* (near to the Masterclass theatre).

All of our work is shaped by a belief that people have great untapped potential, and that applies in healthcare as much as in other fields. We see great opportunities in the years ahead to mobilise people's own abilities to live healthier lives, to manage their own conditions and to support others, all in partnership with highly skilled professionals. We currently provide the advisory service for the Regional Innovation Funds and have pioneered the unique Social Entrepreneur in Residence (SEiR) programme.

Masterclass - Encouraging Innovation

Geoff Mulgan, CEO Young Foundation

This will focus on practical challenge of developing radically more effective models for such tasks as supporting discharged elderly patients to stay in their homes, supporting self-management for people with diabetes or cutting obesity. Geoff will explore what we know about which methods work best in generating innovations, testing and evaluating potential solutions, financing them and taking them to scale.
