The Young Foundation's Social Entrepreneur in Residence (SEiR), Eleanor Cappell, has been highlighted in the British Medical Journal (BMJ). The article entitled, 'Brave new world' explores how social innovation can enable a health care system that is more cost effective and equitable in improverished as well as affluent countries. SEiR has been highlighted as an example of how social innovation in NHS Birmingham East and North is fostering new, local enterprises that improve health inequalities.
