Monday, 8 December 2008 12:00 - 14:30

This workshop at the Young Foundation is part of the Unmet and Emerging needs research programme. This is an ambitious two year survey, combining quantitative and qualitative methods, of the UK's changing needs looking at emerging as well as persistent needs, urban and rural, material and psychological.

The project brings together a consortium of 11 leading charitable foundations, the BLF and ESRC, with the aim of identifying priority areas for action for different sectors. The project is supported by a strong team of advisers including Lord Claus Moser and Karen Dunnell (current head of the Office of National Statistics), Professor Danny Dorling, Professor Ian Gough and others.
