Neighbourhood Action Network: Action Learning Events

Experience from Transforming Neighbourhoods has taught us that many local authorities are dealing with similar issues, which play out in different contexts and our partners value the opportunity to discuss challenging issues as a community of practitioners. Therefore we have prioritised a series of Action Learning Days as part of the Neighbourhood Action Network, to explore the main themes of our practical projects and other issues and concerns for partners.

Our timetable of Action Learning Days for 2007/2008 currently includes:

26 June 2007 Managing neighbourhood conflict

6 September 2007 Housing associations and neighbourhood working

10 October 2007 Youth engagement

13 November 2007 Belonging and neighbourliness

22 January 2008 – Developing officer and member soft skills
