THE LONDON COLLABORATIVE

Partners

The Young Foundation will lead on:

  • Programme management, including liaison with Capital Ambition, publicity and commissioning other organisations to deliver specific elements
  • Developing an overview of scenarios and challenges for London to inform future stages of the project (working with OPM)
  • Working with core partners to shape a programme of leadership development, and a programme of thematic activity, which could involve research, policy development and leadership and management capacity development.

Core Partners:

OPM will work with the Young Foundation on scenario development and developing understanding of London’s challenges, as well as delivering events to raise profile and engage stakeholders.

Common Purpose will lead on developing an overview of the key managers in London, and will be central to the leadership development initiatives after the initial formative stages are complete.

Capital Ambition is funding the project. It is a partnership established in January 2006 by the thirty three London boroughs, London Councils, the Greater London Authority (GLA) and the London Fire and Emergency Planning Authority (LFEPA) to drive up standards and ensure that London is a better place in which to live and work. The vision behind Capital Ambition is to ensure that London’s public services become leaders for innovation, fairness, relevance, efficiency and effectiveness.
