Housing and the built environment
Future Communities
Future Communities is a new consortium to explore the practical ways in which new settlements planned to meet government’s house building targets can succeed as communities where people want to live.
Older Work
Good Neighbours
'Good Neighbours' explored the potential for housing association involvement in neighbourhood governance, culminating in a final report launched in July 2007.
Mapping value
The Mapping Value project was designed to explore how to better capture less tangible benefits from places - specifically new buildings. It looked at aspects of the built urban environment for which markets (and therefore hard monetary values) do not exist.
English Partnerships Seminar Series
In 2008, the Young Foundation hosted four seminars that brought together invited representatives from English Partnerships and other key agencies involved in delivering the government's housing targets.
