Events
Experience has taught us that many local authorities are dealing with similar issues, which play out in different contexts. For this reason, we held a series of seminars as part of the Neighbourhood Action Network that explored the main themes of our practical projects and other concerns of partners. Our timetable of meetings for 2008-2009 was:
26 March 2009 Community empowerment in a cold climate: A debate about the future for neighbourhood working and community empowerment in the wake of the UK’s economic downturn
This final meeting of the Neighbourhood Action Network included presentations from Geoff Mulgan and Ben Page, Managing Director of Ipsos MORI Public Affairs, and a discussion on the impact of the recession on communities and neighbourhood working. For a copy of Ben Page's presentation click here.
11 September 2008 organisational culture seminar
17 July 2008 devolving funds seminar (morning)
