We are starting work on a unique partnership with the British Council to produce a virtual exhibition for its Our Shared Europe programme which will span three countries – Great Britain, Germany and Turkey. 

The exhibition will highlight the constant influence and sharing of ideas that has occurred between Muslim and European individuals and societies. The themes will invariably start in the past but it is important to show the ripple effect of those ideas in the present and how Europe today would not be the same without the Islam of yesterday. 

This ambitious exhibition will take people on a journey both in terms of geography and ideas, and show how Islamic and European societies have been changed physically, intellectually, culturally and spiritually because of this unique relationship. We will use a mixture of rigorous academic research, film, animation and music to bring to life an important shared history.
