The website is an integral part of Maslaha, aiming to reach as diverse an audience in as many accessible means as possible. Maslaha is carving out a distinctive niche by providing information about Islam using videos, audio recordings, graphical design, web forums - all grounded in a practical approach focusing on the matters people face in daily life.

 

The website includes four main sections:

 

Thinking Allowed web box

Thinking Allowed:

a question and answer section where leading thinkers and academics answer questions raised by the Muslim community.

 

Maslaha Engage box

Maslaha Engage:

an interactive section where users can view and upload an energetic and informative library of videos, incroporating a diverse range of unique footage from amateur videos of community events and discussions to intriguing collections of oral history to interviews with pioneers in areas such as science and the arts

Interaction box Interaction and Understanding:

a public service section that will provide local service providers with information about Islam and how their services can be improved and tailored to provide better engage with their Muslim clients

 

 

Untold Islam box

Untold Islam:

A further aim of Maslaha is to breakdown many of the negative stereotypes of Islam that are presented by the mainstream media. The Untold Islam section of the site explores the role Islam has have played in all areas of society including science, commerce, mathematics, etc incorporating an online museum of timelines, articles and scholarly contributions
