Promoting wellbeing in parenting support (August 09)
Writing in August's Parenting UK News Bulletin, Yvonne Roberts, Senior Health Associate at the Young Foundation looks at the importance promoting well-being in parenting support.
Using the example of the Local Wellbeing Project, currently working with three local authorities, Manchester, Hertfordshire and South Tyneside. As Margaret Welch, the Parenting Commissioner for South Tyneside says; "We aim for more than just making things a little better. This is about the well-being of the whole family".
