The Citizens' University, a new venture from the Young Foundation in partnership with the
National Endowment for Science, Technology and the Arts (NESTA), has been developed as a fun
way of helping people gain the skills and confidence they need to be more effective citizens. Its
aim is catalyse a national citizens' movement that strengthens communities and their capacity to
act for themselves.
