Success for Life
Following a presentation of Arrival Education's ethos and history from its founder Daniel Snell, Jordanna, Nurjahan and Shafiq shared their inspirational journeys through Arrival Education's Success for Life programme.
Arrival Education is a social and talent development company that aims to support young people from inner-city communities through their transition to adulthood and into the world of work. Their approach builds on the most advanced theories of corporate leadership development and brokers mentoring relationships with young leaders working in the private sector.
AE has developed a unique Success for Life programme which promotes the key skills required for individuals to progress along aspirational career pathways. It is premised on the believe that in some of the most challenging communities lies some of the greatest potential. One of the key innovations of AE is the use of ‘peer-leverage' - utilising the most influential young people as leaders in their schools to create change. It engages with these opinionated, ambitious characters to provide them with the skills, opportunities, insights and experiences for them to follow their aspirations.
Through the Learning Launchpad, the Young Foundation has supported Daniel and his team go from being a concept, through to pilot stages to its present form, working in partnership with some of the UK's leading businesses including law firms, banks, advertising and media.
