Geoff Mulgan, Director of the Young Foundation and Rushanara Ali, Associate Director attended this BEPA (Bureau of European Policy Advisors) meeting in Brussels on 19 and 20 January 2008.

The meeting considered some leading experiments in the social field and made recommendations on EU action to stimulate and monitor the use of the most innovative social networking models in  public and private services.

President Barroso was present on the 20 January to draw conclusions.
