Over the last three years there has been renewed momentum toward bringing the voices, perspectives and experiences of people, communities and beneficiaries of services closer to the source of decision-making and institutional sources of power – including social investment.
With support from Big Society Capital and Barrow Cadbury Trust, the Young Foundation will be launching their new report which sets out the case for bringing the experiences of people deeper into social investment. Drawing upon the insights of user voice experts, social investors and those they invest in, it sets out a range of tools, case studies, approaches and a range of further recommendations to bridge the gap between communities of people and those who make decisions which affect them.
This event provides an opportunity to hear more about the report and commentary from key social investment actors. The event will be an opportunity to debate, explore and challenge.
