Salary: £28,000 per annum

Location: Remote – UK based. Our offices are in east London, but we welcome applicants from across the UK. You should be willing to travel to our London office for team and project meetings.

Hours:  35 hours per week, full time

Benefits: 25 days annual leave, excluding bank holidays, and three days off between Christmas and New Year pro-rata. We are currently trialling a 4.5 day working week, with staff having Friday afternoons off, and expect to confirm this policy in 2023.

Our new Communications and Design Officer will play a key role, joining us at a crucial time to share our growing organisation’s work tackling some of the UK’s biggest challenges.

Job description

Supporting the Head of Communications and External Affairs, the purpose of the role is to design, create and place high-quality communications outputs. You will work collaboratively and creatively to extend The Young Foundation’s reputation and reach through exciting and innovative multimedia content that elevates our work on both owned and external platforms.

The successful candidate will design reports; produce written, video and audio content; champion our brand; create high-performing social media, website and newsletter content; proof-read reports; secure media coverage on national, regional, and sector platforms; collaborate with partners and stakeholders; and monitor performance of communications outputs against goals and objectives.
