About the Young Foundation
Connected, thriving communities are the foundation of our society. They keep us safer, happier and healthier – more resilient and able to face shared challenges. Today, the Young Foundation’s mission is to enable the development of connected, more sustainable and stronger communities across the UK. We do this through amplifying the stories and lived experiences of people in our communities; using this to drive locally-led community action and enterprise. We use what we learn across different communities to spot national patterns of need and opportunity, then work with national partners to support new ideas to tackle those shared challenges. Bringing together our own – and other people’s – work, we are building a shared body of evidence, tools and insight about how communities are taking action on the issues that affect them.
About the role
We are looking for a Project Administrator to join our friendly team. You will be the key to helping us manage and ensure the quality of a number of exciting projects. These include the launch of a national network of community researchers and a large research study to understand how Covid-19 has impacted people’s health, wellbeing and relationships.
You will be a proactive and solutions-focused person and will be responsible for engaging and communicating with our diverse team of community researchers from across the UK. You’ll be confident keeping on top of a wide range of tasks in a fast-paced environment– from scheduling meetings and interviews, managing set up of mobile phones for research, creating and updating project plans and organising incentives for research respondents.
You will be highly organised, have a willingness to learn new things and above all have a stong desire to support projects that help us understand what works to strengthen communities.
You’ll form a key part of our friendly team with lots of opportunities to learn about our wider work and join our remote social life.
