Community Advisory Board

Chief Executive of a local community-based organisation, Ranjit has lived in the London borough of Richmond for 34 years and is a trustee of a local infrastructure support organisation.

In Ranjit’s professional capacity, she runs a local community-based organisation providing service to people with addiction and mental health issues, including carers and family members. She sits on various local authority groups, committees and boards to raise awareness of the issues affecting these service users, as well as the voluntary sector. Ranjit responds to consultations online and attends events to influence local politicians and officers regarding local health and social care provision as well as the voluntary sector.

Ranjit believes that by working together, communities have a stronger voice to challenge, question, hold politicians to account and ensure money is spent on what is needed.
