Director, Sharon Squires Consultancy

Sharon is a senior fellow with The Young Foundation. She is the director of her own consultancy – Sharon Squires Consultancy – and has an extensive track record of working with ministers, MPs and political leaders at national, regional and local levels. She has worked alongside many chief executives and managing directors from the private, public, academic and third sectors, designing and leading large cross-agency transformational change programmes, including integrating and restructuring complex multi-disciplinary departments, leading to substantial improvements in performance and significant cost savings.

Sharon has led large place-based change programmes in Sheffield City Region and West Yorkshire Combined Authority. She completed a research fellowship with the University of Sheffield on place-based leadership.

Sharon is now chair of Multi-Agency Assurance Panels for the Modern Slavery unit at the Home Office. She is also a trustee at the Involve Charity and lectures on place-based leadership at the Universities of Birmingham, Sheffield and Sheffield Hallam.
