Abstract
In this report, Capacity share their reflections on the role of intermediaries in community asset transfer from local authorities to community organisations. Drawing on recent activity in the Liverpool City Region, Capacity looked at whether an intermediary, which can provide support and expertise to both the community organisation and local authority, can facilitate an asset transfer. The report details the seven stages of the intermediation process as well as providing feasibility studies for three potential community asset transfers in Liverpool.
