The Greater London Authority (GLA) is currently working to coordinate and strengthen the Mayor’s work to protect the rights of migrant workers in London, who are particularly at risk of experiencing abuse and exploitation at work.

As part of this work, the GLA has commissioned research to gain an understanding of the support and advice services on offer to migrant workers in London, and consequently develop a strategy to improve access to these services for migrant workers experiencing abuse and exploitation in London.

This research is being delivered by The Young Foundation in collaboration with Focus on Labour Exploitation (FLEX), a charity dedicated to ending labour exploitation.

If you are an organisation providing support and advice services to migrant workers, you can help by taking part in our survey. It will only take 10 minutes to complete and is open until 13 January 2023.

If you are interested in becoming a peer researcher on this project, speaking to migrant workers across London, you can find out more information here. We are particularly keen to hear from people who are from any of the following communities: Eastern European, Latin American, Indian, South East Asian, Chinese, and African. Register your interest in becoming a peer research on this project here.
