Having started his career as a classroom teacher, Jonny has since worked predominantly in start-up and fast growth organisations in both private and third sectors, with a theme of social justice running through most of his projects.

Kersten England CBE

Passionate about building community, social justice, equality and inclusion, and healthy democracy, Kersten’s career has included work in the voluntary and community sector, higher education, central government, and more than 30 years in local government.

With over 30 years’ experience as a producer and director for the BBC, Channel 4 and other international broadcasters, Rizwana’s films have won awards, been used as evidence in internal enquiries, and influenced policy change. 

Stephen Jacobs

Chair, Old Ford Housing Association

Stephen was brought up in the East End of London, and has held a variety of senior positions within housing departments in London Local Authorities. He established the largest not-for-profit regeneration company in London, and was community lead in the successful Olympic bid team.
