Snowball is an investment organisation that targets social and environmental impact alongside financial return. Abigail is responsible for the firm’s approach to managing impact and is a member of the investment team. She has a background in both impact and a financial analysis.

Henry was formerly an executive director at the West Midlands Combined Authority, responsible for its work on inclusive growth, public service reform, climate change and digital.
Gareth Williams

Gareth works with digitally-led businesses and social enterprises. He has a strong track record growing brands as a CEO, founder and board-level adviser and has wide experience of business having worked in industry, investment banking and retail. His focus is on helping build social enterprises that scale.

Having started his career as a classroom teacher, Jonny has since worked predominantly in start-up and fast growth organisations in both private and third sectors, with a theme of social justice running through most of his projects.

Julie is the chair of the Young Foundation; Demos, Britain’s leading cross-party think tank; and the Skills Federation, the employer voice on skills. She is also a trustee for Involve, the participation organisation.
Kersten England
Chief Executive, Bradford Council
In Bradford, Kersten has responsibility for over 17,000 staff and a multi-million pound budget across one of the largest local authorities in the country. Her main challenge is to deliver sustainable and inclusive growth and in particular to strengthen the skills base of the District.

Pete leads Legal & General’s direct investments into partnerships with the Public Sector, with particular passions for social and affordable housing, new models of care provision, and investment into regeneration around the country.

Stephen was brought up in the East End of London, and has held a variety of senior positions within housing departments in London Local Authorities. He established the largest not-for-profit regeneration company in London, and was community lead in the successful Olympic bid team.

Vidhya Alakeson is the chief executive of Power to Change, an independent trust established in 2015 to support and grow community-led businesses across England. Vidhya was appointed to start up Power to Change and has led it since.
