Perspectives from the field of citizen science
Dr Helena Hollis from the Institute for Community Studies looks at how the approach is being used and where it might go next, Dr Christian Reynolds from the University of London shares his personal perspective from undertaking citizen science on the ground; and Dr Margaret Gold from the University of Leiden explores what it takes to share good practice and scale up . The discussion was chaired by Dr Jen Grove from UKRI during ‘Citizen Science for policy and practice’, a one-day online event convened in October 2022 by UKRI, the FSA, and the Institute for Community Studies (with support from Government Social Research Profession).
