Pandora Liu

Pandora arrived in the UK in 2021, though her thoughts about migration began forming before 2019. Prior to moving, she worked as a social worker in Hong Kong for over 20 years, driven by her passion for connecting with people and promoting well-being and humanity.

As an immigrant undergoing such a significant and life-changing transition, she realised the importance of staying connected and receiving care and support. This inspired her to join forces with fellow Hongkongers to establish Reading Hongkongers CIC, which aimed at building and fostering a sense of belonging and solidarity among Hong Kong immigrants living in the UK.
