JUST refers to different forms of ‘joining up’. It means linking the push for low‑carbon living with efforts to tackle inequality, democratic decline, care challenges and the cost‑of‑living crisis. But it also means bringing together the people and organisations working on these issues.

This latest research looks across 140+ actors and initiatives already doing the work to move us towards a just and joined-up climate transition. It offers clear insights into what JUST action looks like, how it is being put into practice and how it is strategically framed to – and with – the public.

In this webinar you’ll join the review’s authors – Professor Lucie Middlemiss (University of Leeds), Professor Matthew Paterson (University of Manchester) and Samanthi Theminimulle (The Young Foundation) – for a deeper dive into their findings and an exploration of key questions including:

  • Who is leading JUST actions?
  • How are JUST actions being funded?
  • What do JUST initiatives look like strategically?
  • How is JUST being narrated or envisioned in place?
  • How is the public expected to play a role in JUST actions?

Ideal for policymakers, organisations, researchers and campaigners working across climate and social justice, the webinar is an opportunity to understand the JUST landscape on a more detailed level, hear about organisations already doing JUST-aligned work, ask questions and connect with leading climate justice researchers.
