Senior Research Manager

Cristina is a mixed-methods social researcher with an MSc in sociology from the University of Edinburgh. She has more than seven years’ experience working in research and evaluation in agency, charity and academic settings.

Before joining The Young Foundation, Cristina worked as Research Manager at ClearView Research, where she was involved in delivering research involving participatory research methods on a range of topics including youth engagement, identity, and racial inequalities. Cristina also has extensive experience in the youth sector, analysing impact evidence across large-scale, national youth programmes and conducting research with grassroots youth and community organisations.

Cristina has experience working on and leading research and evaluation projects that involve both qualitative and quantitative methods including projects for BBC Children in Need, Fair4All Finance, Impact on Urban Health, and Sport England.

Cristina is also a trained musician with a BA in music. She has delivered music-based projects with children and young people across South America, North America, and the UK. She is passionate about arts-based research approaches and co-creation and is committed to producing research that is participatory, accessible, and led by community needs.
