Research Officer
Jem joined The Young Foundation in 2023 after having worked as a Research Assistant for a charity supporting children living in deprivation.
He is interested in the causes and impacts of systemic racism, and how inclusivity in research can combat this. He has also volunteered at an NGO based in Buea, Cameroon, working on sexual and gender-based violence. Jem has expertise in British imperial history, holding an MSc in empires, colonialism, and globalisation.
Outside of work, Jem enjoys sports, particularly cricket and running.
