Innovation Practitioner
Nairat joined The Young Foundation in 2025, following her role as a consultant for The Social Innovation Partnership. She has over three years’ experience embedding participatory approaches to research, evaluation and co-production, which has required a combination of robust process thinking, and flexibility for creativity. She has partnered with diverse stakeholders, including local communities in Southwark, London; charities; and statutory organisations such as the Mayors Office for Policing and Crime (MOPAC), the Greater London Authority (GLA), Alexandra Rose Charity, and Queen Mary University, among others.
Nairat is passionate about community and people-led insights, specifically from those of racially minortised backgrounds. She is keen to ensure their lived experiences are valued and embedded in service design to drive equitable social change.
Alongside her full-time roles, she has contributed to various freelance projects, with interests around intersectionality, racial/migrant justice, and Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG).
Outside work, Nairat enjoys taking (long) strolls through her local parks, spending time with loved ones, travelling, and catching up on all things Netflix!
