Senior Researcher
Sameen is a researcher specialising in global public health and mixed-methods research, with expertise in quantitative analysis and epidemiology. His work focuses on complex health and social challenges, including humanitarian health, infectious diseases, climate change adaptation, and mental health.
Before moving into public health research, Sameen worked in data analysis and research across finance, technology, and international development. He has contributed to large-scale mixed-method studies and policy-focused research across multiple countries, universities, humanitarian organisations, and multilateral agencies.
Sameen’s research interests include understanding how evidence can better inform policy, strengthen health systems, and support more equitable responses to health and social challenges.
Outside of work, Sameen enjoys drawing and writing and has recently begun exploring bio‑art. He also spends time playing and following sports, including basketball, football, and martial arts, and enjoys reading and playing video games.
