Senior Researcher
Summer joined The Young Foundation as Senior Researcher in 2025. She previously worked with communities at the think tank New Local.
A commitment to challenging inequalities has been the driving force in her career – at local to global scales. After completing an MSc in International Development in 2017, Summer worked for a number of global health charities that operated across sub-Saharan Africa and Southeast Asia.
Summer’s multidisciplinary background has enabled her to develop expertise in qualitative research and external engagement. She is particularly interested in social infrastructure, community connectedness and place-based approaches.
Outside of work, Summer loves swimming, crocheting, watching live music and visiting London’s many urban farms.
