Session

Day 2, 24 March, 3.00pm

The Kickstart Scheme, along with additional funding from the Youth Futures Foundation and Mohn Westlake Foundation, allowed The Young Foundation to employ 23 young people aged 19-24 as peer researchers. During their six months at The Young Foundation, they worked across three research sprints and developed essential skills, with the aim of gaining confidence and experience that would lead to future employment. This presentation will explore the unique opportunities that peer research can provide young people at the very beginning of their careers as well as the challenges and successes of the first two cohorts.
