This report shares learnings from The Young Foundation’s participation in the Department for Work and Pensions’ Kickstart Scheme. The programme ran between September 2020 and March 2022, providing funding to create new jobs for 16- to 24-year-olds at risk of long-term unemployment. We share reflections and recommendations for effective and enduring support to young people entering the workforce.
