The Secret Life of Innovation: Replication

The Realising Ambition consortium, of which The Young Foundation was a part, produced a series of 12 Programme Insights rather than writing a long evaluation report at the end of the five-year programme.

By sharing ideas, successes, challenges and even some mistakes, the consortium hoped to support and inspire others who are considering, undertaking or commissioning their own replication journey.

This first issue explores the topic of replication, defined as delivering a service into new geographical areas or to new or different audiences. It examines the links between replication and innovation, the reasons for replicating in children’s services and the stages involved.

Realising Ambition’s Programme Insights are designed to support anyone undertaking or commissioning services with a focus on replication and evidence.
