In 2022, we worked with Waltham Forest Council to create a data-rich and resident-led vision and framework for ’15-Minute Neighbourhoods’.

Drawing directly on research and engagement with local residents, this report shares insights from across the borough, pinpointing what residents think is important for their neighbourhoods to have and provide, and highlighting their hopes for the future of their borough.

Waltham Forest has subsequently embedded the 15-Minute Neighbourhood vision and framework in its corporate policy, creating a council-wide strategy based on its principles.

Our 15-Minute Neighbourhood recommendations, while created specifically for and with Waltham Forest, are relevant for other communities trying to create complete, compact and connected places where life is within easy reach.
