Jen’s background is in designing and delivering support and scaling initiatives for social innovators and entrepreneurs. Before joining The Young Foundation, she held integral roles in grant management delivery, challenge prize design, and business mentor brokering at UnLtd and Nesta.

Jessica Moore
Director of Communications and External Affairs
Joining in September 2021, Jess drives thought leadership and shares our creative ideas with diverse audiences. Passionate about communicating the needs of people in our communities, she works to extend The Young Foundation’s reach and impact.
Jessica Redmond
Jess was a Senior Researcher at The Young Foundation, 2022-25. They were previously a policymaker at the Bank of England, held roles in government, policy research, and education, and explored youth unemployment and educational inequality as part of the Year Here Social Innovation Fellowship.
Jim Ogg
Jim has worked with The Young Foundation on various projects. Based in Paris, he collaborates with the research department of the Caisse Nationale d’Assurance Vieillesse and the Institut National des Etudes Démographiques. He is a member of the Working Group on Intergenerational Transfers for the Survey of Health, Ageing and Retirement in Europe.
Jitinder Kohli
Managing Director, Deloitte Consulting
Based in the US, Jitinder focuses on how governments and nonprofit organisations can drive innovation to improve citizen outcomes. He specialises in harnessing data to improve the impact of public funds. He previously worked as a senior civil servant in the British government.
John Thackara
Senior Fellow, Royal College of Art.
John curated the celebrated Doors of Perception conference for 20 years, in Amsterdam and India, and was the first director of the Netherlands Design Institute in Amsterdam. He has served on start-up teams for new institutes around the world, and was commissioner of the social innovation biennial, Dott 07, and the ecological city biennial, City Eco Lab.
Jon Alexander
Director, The New Citizen Project
Jon wrote ‘Citizens: Why the key to fixing everything is all of us’. He is director and co-founder of the New Citizenship Project, an innovation company, generating and delivering creative projects which promote the role of the citizen, inspiring and encouraging participation in society. He has three Masters degrees and has represented Great Britain in two sports.
