Alice is an Intern, working across a range of The Young Foundation’s research projects. She joined us in September 2020, after graduating from the University of Cambridge with a Geography BA degree. She is interested in understanding how intersectional inequalities cut across scales to shape people’s everyday lives. For instance, her dissertation used a qualitative methodology to explore the impact of gendered structures on millennial women’s working lives and career trajectories.
In 2019, she spent two months working on EU Exit policy as a Government Social Research (GSR) Summer Intern at the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS). Passionate about producing meaningful impact through research, Alice is keen to learn from YF’s creative and innovative approach to working with communities.
